The Amazing Hemsleys

Today was the perfect day for a photoshoot - and the perfect way to send off this lovely family. Matt and Kim Hemsley are packing up their gorgeous little family and heading to DC for their next great adventure. They are planting a church and I couldn't be more excited for them. I know they will be used greatly and will impact DC for the Kingdom. You guys are loved and will be missed! Here's a little sneak peek of what we did today :)

How time flies

I cannot believe it's been a year almost to the day since my last post!! Wow. I guess you can see where my focus has been - or NOT been rather. Maybe it's because of autumn, maybe it's because... well i have no idea why else i would suddenly be refocused on creative things. So here I am, after quite a posting hiatus, and the plan is to post a few images from each event from the last year. It's a lot, so it'll take a while to get them all posted, but I'm gonna try anyway. Here's to catching up!

Sandy, Myles and Max Dixon - NC photographer

after a bit of a sleepy start early this morning, miles and max proved to be up for jumping off almost anything, climbing anything and enduring ALLLLmost anything that was asked of them for our photo shoot. their lovely mom, Sandy called me a few days ago wanting to schedule a last minute shoot since the boys hadn't had pictures done since they were kids. I'm so happy she did. It was an adventure, to say the least, and i am so happy with the outcome. hey Myles, you just may have a future in reflector art. :) it was a pleasure meeting you guys and thanks for looking at the camera... eventually :)

Tiffany & Scott's Engagement Shoot - Charlotte Photographer

Love is in the air - and what lovely air it was today - it couldn't have been any more perfect for Tiffany and Scott's engagement session. Such lovely people are my pleasure to capture on "film" - Here's one little picture just because I couldn't wait.. so now that it's posted i'll go collapse in bed. Many more to come. Stay tuned :)

Marc & Jordan Engagement Shoot - Statesville NC photographer

Jordan and Marc were off the charts. They were up for anything i suggested, and i suggested some nutsy stuff! We had a blast running around from place to place, climbing things, perching odd places and they looked gorgeous doing it. This is just a sneak peek, more loveliness to come.
